No more single invitations for Foil?

When did Zazzle change this? I know I’ve gotten a few single orders recently. I just had a customer email me asking if they could buy one sample to see what the foil looks like.

Hi @Connie

Thanks for reaching out! Could you provide the link to the product, please? We’ll check this information and update you as soon as possible 📝

Hi @Connie ,

Thanks for your post. I’m not sure when this may have been changed. I have forwarded your feedback to our team however for them to take a look.

If you refer to the new foil flat cards combined with regular prints, it got changed last year before Christmas and affects also the Holiday greeting cards (set to 5 min. order). I addressed it here:

It’s not one product, it’s all the real foil invitations.

Oh wow, I didn’t realize it went back so far! I was so happy when they switched from 10 to single cards, and ordered a bunch of samples then. But now I see they are set at 5. I understand it’s a cost issue, but disappointing when customers can’t just get one sample to see how the foil printing looks. Especially because it is less likely that they are ordering one card just to print elsewhere.

Yep, I was also happy they removed the min. order first, so I planned to focus on a bunch of occasions, PLUS I also wanted to use them also for memorial prints to be framed. Then the Holiday season came and dang, the min. order was there again. I assume it is a handling cost factor, that’s why I’ve suggested adding a more expensive variant with no min. order and exempting it from huge sales.
