No Referral Earned for a Digital Self Referral

I referred this poster this morning and it came through as “self” but I did not earn the referral fee?

And I still do not understand why Zazzle takes out a Marketing Fee for digital products we refer? If anyone can please explain that to me, I’d really like to understand that fee.

There is a delay before you receive a referral earnings notification. It is sent separately from the sale notification (at least that’s what happened to me). You can check your Referral Earnings History - you should be able to see it there - even before you receive the notification.

I do not get notifications, I only look at my referral history.
