So yesterday I sold a number of items for $672 @ 14.9% royalty. It states 3rd party.
However, I don’t get credited with 14.9% of the value. I only get around half of what it should be.
Can an expert on such matters advise as to why that should be?

Congrats on that sale! Wow! ![]()
Which department is it in?
The new 3rd party fee structure can take up to 50% of your royalties depending on the department that 3rd party sale was in
Congrats!
If you do this in the 45% category and suppose this same Secondary Content situation (see this recent post here), you come out to your $49.08
It was a free-standing pedestal sign, so I’m guessing it’s “Office and School”.
So Zazzle has taken back almost half of my “earnings” in “fees” straightaway… 🤔
Yes, they are claiming that that fee is a “marketing fee.” It’s excessive, totally unfair, and outrageous.
It is totally opaque and unfair because we cannot verify where it comes from.
Wow, that’s a very nice sale!
But very sad so little earnings for your designed item sold was given to you!
