I am trying to design some RSVP cards but am having trouble getting them to fully change from Horizontal to Vertical. If I change them both in the design tool, nothing looks like it has change. If I then hit Done and return to the product page it shows the front view as horizontal and the back view as vertical. When I go in the design tool again and click on horizontal orientation for both front and back it still looks like nothing has changed and the artboard still shows both front and back as vertical. When I click done again and return to the product page it shows both front and back as horizontal. So I thought yay it finally fixed. Upon going back in to the design tool a third time the artboard area still shows vertical…very frustrating… and I cannot design a horizonal RSVP Card.

It starts from the blank product page. Go into the design tool and change front and back orientation to vertical and the artboard area doesn’t reflect the change. Going back to the product page by clicking done shows only one side getting the change in the insitus. Anytime I change the orientation (whether vertical to horizontal or back to vertical) on these it doesn’t work quite right. I don’t know if it is just total lag happening or not.
It appears to be working as expected for me. What browser are you using?

Me too and it is working for me. Are you adding the image before you change the orientation? Otherwise it won’t work.
No. I go to the blank product page and click to enter the design tool. As soon as I get in and try to change the orientation I run into this issue.
@SJoy I think what Fiona is trying to say - add your image before you change orientation
This is the same blank as you used - I added images before I changed orientation and both are showing the vertical orientation
Thanks @Sara_H . I really do appreciate your comments. Since when has this been a thing? I usually choose the orientation of the product before I even start adding any design elements. Just another thing to have to add to the work around list. 😒 Now if I can just move the square elements box how I want it to be without it reverting back or moving where I don’t want it, maybe I can finally post this design for sale.
@SJoy It’s a new thing I’m sure. Just part of the “upgrades” to the design tool that keeps getting dropped without any notification to the designers.
Cross fingers you can post your RSVP’s in the orientation that you need
