Paper Cups Taken on A strange Look

Most of my paper cups where I have a background color now look completely different than when originally published.
All of the white in the cups are gone and I can no longer see a design. In one view it looks normal and then in another the design is wonky. Is this a temporary glitch?

I ran into the same issue and had to fix it in the design tool - there was a background color set on the wrong layer and that got on top of everything else (text and graphics).

I just checked mine and they have the same issue, all except the ones with white background. This has to be fixed on global scale.

So I checked and the only place I have a background is on the last one: Manual Wrap background and logos
there is not a background on any other layer. In theory the whole cup should look wrong if it’s the wrong layer and not one side? I’m not sure.

Having the same issue. I’m trying to create a new paper cup design and it keeps layering the background color over the image in a semi-transparent way.

Hi folks,

Firstly, welcome to Zazzle Community! 😁 Many thanks for flagging this. I’ve taken a look on my end per the example link provided above, specifically Natalia’s link, and I’m not seeing any issues of background colors layering over the designs.

Can you all confirm if you are still seeing this occurring, or if it has since resolved itself? If it’s still happening for some, please feel free to pass along some more example links/PIDs and we’ll be more than happy to take a look!

Thanks,

These are just a few examples in my store.
Thanks

Yes, still seeing it when trying to create a new cup. If it helps, in my case the background color is set in the Auto Warping Wrap layer, while the image that it’s covering is in the Auto Warping Back layer, at least in my case it doesn’t seem to be covering the artwork in the Auto Warping Front layer.

Yes, I still see the problems. I’m on iPad in Safari Browser. The front of the cups looks ok, the back looks like it’s overlayed with the background. I checked the layers and they all set properly: Auto warping, Front  for front picture, Auto warping, Back  for back picture, Auto warping, Wrap for background. Every non-white cup from my link above that is using a background color

Here are mine that it is happening to: 256157678197695710 , 256931335697680093 , 256111992609475708 , 256491191926946904 , 256574121719418227 ,

Like others have said, the “front view” is fine. The problem occurs on all of the other views.

Thanks for posting your examples, Creators. We recently brought this item back into Stock which might have caused this issue, somehow? I have flagged this now and passed on your examples to get it fixed asap.

Thank you! 🌻

Hi Everyone,

Apologies for this issue. I have let our team know and we will investigate and hopefully have an answer as soon as possible.

Thanks for your patience.

Shapes aren’t working on the backside.

I’m still having this problem. An image on the front layer with a background color on any layer works as expected. When I add the same image to the back of the cup and add a background color on any layer, it covers the back image. Thank you for your help, Emma!

I just noticed this with my "rainbow snails pattern’ cup it looks completely black:grimacing: I’m seeing it on some of my other cups too now that I’m looking :eyes:

What layer is the pattern on?

I am having the same issue with some of my cup designs.

I am having the same issues with my cups. What I figured out was the colors were oversaturated on the front and back and when I changed the background to no color in the “Auto Warping, Wrap: Images and Text” the colors were back to normal however, there is now the issue of the sides being white — which is why I had added the color in that particular layer — so that the entire cup has the pink background.

Do we have to remake the paper cups that have broken designs? Or will they auto-magically be fixed?
