My balance is currently over $50, and I selected PayPal as my payment method. However, I still haven’t received any payment, and all of my earnings are marked as “Cleared.”
I have already completed the tax form and received an email confirming that my account was updated and that I am eligible to receive payments.
This will be my first payment from Zazzle, so I’m not sure if I’ve done everything correctly. I’m a bit confused and would appreciate any guidance on what I might be missing.
Depending on the country that you’re living in and that you have declared in your tax form, there is a tax rate applicable between 5 - 30% to your earnings. If after deducting this tax from what you earned in a month, an amount less than 50 dollars remains, payment cannot be made through PayPal. Payment is made when the tax is deducted from the amount earned in a month and at least 50 dollars still remain after that.
I completed a W-8BEN form claiming treaty benefits as a resident of the Netherlands and claimed a 0% withholding rate on royalties. My tax form was accepted, and I received an email confirming that my account was updated and eligible for payments.
My current cleared balance is $59, which is above the $50 PayPal payment threshold.
Could someone please confirm the withholding tax rate currently being applied to my account and explain why a payment was not issued?
It could be that $50 had not cleared before the cut off time, or they were not from April. Every month for example, I have more money in my ‘cleared’ amount than will actually be pulled for the payout.
