Can someone please walk me through how to Personalize this design step by step I have tried everything and read and watched everything I could find explaining the process and still do not see “Personalize this design” on the product page. I log out and found my product on Zazzle and the “Personalize this design” did not show on the product page. Help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
I don’t see anything to personalize. What do you anticipate that someone would want to personalize?

add text to a product (Personalize) example invitation, cups, planner etc.
I must have been in the wrong place — I went to your store and didn’t see anything to personalize — they all seemed to just be solid colors. I will try again.

yesterday I did Pink Color Personalized PopSocket
not sure I am doing all the setting right when setting up the product fields like (you text here) first box and second box and all the setting
I looked for a video guide to walk me through it but cannot find one.
Are you trying to do this on the new or the old designer? I can help you with the old but not with the new.

If a product does not have any template fields the button will say “Edit” (assuming you checked the box on publishing to allow editing on product page). If the product has template fields it will instead say “Personalize”. With the current version of the “new” interface it doesn’t seem to matter as either way, once they click the button, they get the same full editing abilities.

click on “add Text” box, add what you want. Go to “selling options” in the top bar and that opens options to “make this a template object” etc.
Thank you, I do have a question, On the URL parameter name box for example if I just add one text option it would be text1 if I add another text option it would be text2 and a third option text box would be text3. What is confusing to me is what it says under the box “Your_name” do we use it or the example above text1 - text2 - text3. Thank you.

I usually give instructions — i.e., Use all upper case or Upper Case on First Letters only — or — your message or delete. Is that helpful? I am not working with the new design tool — but I would assume the same logic would apply.
@Deb1 Yes - if you want to add more text boxes, you can keep the text2, text3 url parameters etc and just change the Product Page Label as @VivianD117 says. eg Your Name, Your Address or whatever the text box is for.
They are saying that you could create your own url parameters if you wanted (eg your_name/your_address) but you don’t have to.
You would also have to make sure there were no spaces and all lowercase (that’s why they’re showing it with an underscore in it) but i just leave it with the text1/text2/text3 - why complicate an already complicated action.
Just make sure that it flows for the customer (eg start at the top and work down)
