The products I optimized last weekend are reported as “Optimization Needed” and are already appearing under hidden, although without the corresponding symbol (yet).
If your indexing isn’t working by then, more will be added within 24 hours at the latest.

Just a suggestion. Is it possible that you need to make them public? When they’re hidden, sometimes it’s necessary to repeat that action—at least that’s happened to me.
Zazzle has not been updating stats well lately so for now I think showing as “needs optimization” is expected until they fix it but either way you need to click on “make it public”. Hope this helps
I think I have to make them all public myself now.
But I think even products that are hidden once will be difficult to find afterward.
When I worked on them over the weekend, they weren’t hidden yet,
I still had enough time. The optimized date also appears correctly under the products.

Is it just me, or do the problems seem to be multiplying around here lately after the big change in the terms of use?!
They are happening because Z is changing things in the background. Remember we are getting a new Earnings report. When Z makes changes, things get broken. I’m not certain just the earnings reports are being changed.
The secret to keeping calm is just wait till they fix things. Report it and move on.

Last night I had over 25k products needing to be optimized, some of them were as recent as a few days. Something isn’t working right with the system that identifies products needing optimization. I’m at a loss with what to do right now.

This is a LONG way from solved. Last night I discovered thousands of products suddenly hidden and requiring optimization and they were all listed within the last few months — so they should not have even been subject to optimization. I unhid all of them . I just checked and the same ones are all hidden again. I wasted several hours unhiding them because it was unclear if and when Zazzle might respond with a fix. Now that work was wasted and the listings can’t even be found. I feel like all I do these days is jump through hoops responding to zazzle make work projects, those that are planned and those that are the result of their messy glitch filled site updates. I am exhausted. And just got a big pay cut to boot.
It usually happens in all companies—I’ve been through it before. Some tech adjusts something and ends up messing up something else… Patience!

They’re probably working on it too; I saw that relevant products were being looked at.
But thank you for your truly sad tip. I was actually planning to make everything public
myself today (a few hundred hidden products have been added). But I’m not wasting that time now.
