Hmm, this does not affect me at all, I just swap around whenever I need to using the layers area… I don’t really mind taking the time, for me, I enjoy the process of creating however long it takes. (but then, I am retired LOL )
@Scott So let’s say a customer wanted to add an image of their own halfway down in a 12-layer design in the design tool.
If that image is introduced to the design (the way it is right now), it would currently be the topmost layer, effectively hiding the other 12 layers (text and graphical elements). This forces customers to either grab and drag the layer down past the first 6 layers, or hit the backward button 6 times.
To me, it makes more sense to first select the existing layer where a customer might want to add that image, and then add that image. No need to go through the process of dragging or clicking afterwards. It also streamlines the efficiency of placement.
