Sometimes getting curved text perfect requires some fine tuning. For example, if you want the text to run along a perfect circle, setting curvature to .72 might be slightly off, but setting it to .73 might overshoot in the other direction. Perfection is somewhere in between those two numbers like .725. If we could only have 3 decimals instead of the 2 we currently have….
Yes, great point. It oftentimes also requires rotation and that might affect the degree of curvature. I also wonder if customers who use other words and maybe even another font, will figure out how to get this right.
I couldn’t agree more. Line spacing and letter spacing also need fine tuning. We’re working after the decimal point for “all or nothing” changes. Also, are the type settings using points as the form of measurement? I can’t tell.
