Previews are showing in low resolution

I create images in high resolution, when I upload to create a product they appear in low resolution.

This is what I seen on my computer screen when I open the image:

This is what I see when I upload the image to Zazzle and create a product, no texture:

I’m not sure of the details, but I believe that Zazzle shows the images in different resolutions depending on which place you’re viewing them. I know for sure that if you look at the previews by clicking on the preview box in the bottom right-hand corner of the design tool you get lower resolution versions than you get on the product page - someone from Zazzle confirmed that once in some thread that I’ll never find even if I searched high & low. I’m not sure about the resolution within the design tool.

My guess (only a guess) is that they’re trying to maximize the site performance & speed so they’re making some sacrifices in terms of the on-screen display, but I doubt it has an impact on the final product.

The previews in the marketplace look like that. That’s what the customers will see.
And the colors are not vivid (probably the RGB vs CMYK issue).

Mod Tip: Why Your High-Res Image Might Look Blurry/Pixelated

I think this must be what I was remembering. Clearly, I got the details wrong!

It might also be because the color is red. Reds are oftentimes showing blurred or pixelated.

@almdrs  I just logged in as you and checked on this product and it looks fine to me. Where are you pulling that second screenshot from?
