Is anyone else having issues with the grouping of products? I know of at least one other person (outside of the forum) that is. It seems that any products since the early June Zazzle updates/glitches are having trouble with it. The grouping isn’t working. Even when I ask for a group. And this is even on items that are only a background color change, so they shouldn’t have any other changes to the design or template that could cause an issue.
Not sure if this is related to other glitches, or perhaps the team that approves the requests is working on other things and it is backed up weeks?
Same. The products that I grouped in the last couple of weeks did not group even though I submitted the request. Other products with the same pattern but different color ways, were automatically grouped but not how I wanted. I will submit a request for the grouping I want.
Hi. I also have had the same issue. I grouped some products early last week to give my customers several color choices and the grouping is still not showing.
I’ve had the same problem since early June. I also reported a separate issue: the color variations (“color dots”) are missing from many marketplace search results and some product pages! This affects products I published since early February. Try searching for your own products – I am wondering if anyone else is seeing this 😕. The “color dots” should appear below the product image to show customers available choices. If a customer isn’t interested in the random color shown, they won’t explore further!
I put in two requests for two different products to have colors grouped, which have been unfulfilled. They also have not been automatically updated by zazzle. I’ve been experiencing this issue since May 28.
I’ve also had the same issue. And, on the subject of grouping, it would be so useful if we could group products where the photo is changed to match the colors.
@AntonDesignCo One of the moderators actually e-mailed me about this when I posted (I assume since I was the only one that responded for a little while). They asked for examples, which I sent over, and then they said they were looking into it. I will send a follow up e-mail to see if any updates.
Same for me. But I’m also a newbie (on groups) and I didn’t know how to do it so I thought it was just me. Luckily I found this thread. I do have a secondary question related to groups. Do they end up being just one product on Zazzle’s search from now on? The reason I’m asking is where do you put media for a group like this. say, normally you have pictures and an video that you upload for a product but when you group them multiple products are grouped together what happens to the images and or movies that are attached to each individual product? Where are you supposed to wait until the grouping has finished and then you can upload the media to the group itself? I’m just curious how this is supposed to work since I can’t even see mine grouped yet..
They are all individual items with their own unique URL’s, titles, descriptions and tags. The media will not show for all colors, only the individual item it is assigned to. The group feature only shows them as a color option in a swatch format to the right side of the screen.
