Product image does not appear when I try to create an HTML link for a blog.

I thought it was just a glitch, but I first tried using the HTML link as I usually put these in a table for my blog with other similar designs.  That one image would not show anything.  Next I tried using just a link without a table, and nothing -no image.  So finally, I got it by copying the image address and the link to get what I needed to fit in my table.  But, I still don’t understand why this one image is not showing up.  Now, it was older and didn’t have a cover image.  So adding the cover image to it, I thought it would, at least temporarily, fix it.  No luck.  
I’m trying to find out why this image doesn’t work properly, so that I can easily share it from the backend, like normal.

@LauraLee   when did you add a cover image? It can take a fair few days for the image to stick

On 4/10/2025. 

So many of mine stick not long after I place them on the product.  Although, I am finding that some will appear - and then later I find that they were removed or did I actually placed them on the product?  The reason I know this is because I’ll remake them, and then I find that I already had one in my image folder.  And my reasoning is, oh maybe I didn’t actually place the (older) image…which is so frustrating, and extra work and extra time I need to spend.  A whack-a-mole scenario. 

However, I’m starting to realize that having a spreadsheet with a Y/N on cover img? and one on a promote date - will help me resolve this is the future.  

This is a problem with the entire product image not showing up when I share it with the HTML coding.

@LauraLee   Yes make a spreadsheet. That will help you with older products. And if you have a canva account, you can create a spreadsheet and link your mockup you made in canva - very helpful.

And as you create a new product, create your cover image as part of the process. With the new publish success page

 you can easily download product images and upload mockups straight away.

If you can screenshot the HTML of the products you are having problems with, maybe that will help the Tech Team. If it’s not showing an image, it could be missing the <img src=“https://rlv.zcache.com/productnamewhatever1024.jpg?max_dim=125” etc in the HTML for some reason

Update, after a few days, the 1st post (a shower curtain) the image actually appeared, so I could post a blog.  Also, after making several “other” cover images, besides the Vintage Harbor Postcard [as stated on 5/15], that one appeared as well.  To date, the sunflower images have yet to appear. And yes, they do have the image link in both of the HTMLs:

This is the example of it on my blog draft preview.  The images of the 2 sunflower products won’t show up.

@LauraLee   sounds like an indexing issues with your cover photos. Wait a few more days to see if they appear.

I’ve noticed when I add a cover photo via .com if I check my co.uk store - the product totally disappears from my store front for about a week then they reappear with a cover photo.

I reckon they’ll appear in a couple of days
