Product merchandising isn’t displaying correctly in my Collections part of store. Two examples:
- For ties, I select the white‑shirt or rolled presentation, but most of them still show as the flat, long version. It’s not an attractive default, and customers have to click into each listing just to see the actual design.

- For wrapping paper sheets, I always choose the final image - the one showing the three wrapped package examples. Instead, the product page only displays the first flat sheet and none of the styled images.

These items have been in my store for a long time, so this isn’t a new setup issue. What can be done to fix the merchandising display so the correct images appear? Is this happening to others and who would I contact?
This is a bug that Zazzle has known about for years and has not yet fixed. Inside of the collection, it always defaults to Zazzle’s first image regardless of which one you’ve selected.
The good news is that there is a workaround, the bad news is that it’s a pain in the rear! To fix it, remove the product from the collection, then find the product in the products list in your store’s back-end: (https://www.zazzle.com/store/YOUR-STORE-NAME-HERE/products). When you find the product, don’t open the product page, instead click on the actions menu beneath the thumbnail and add it back to the collection from there.
It sometimes takes a day or two to index it, but that should make it appear in the collection with the chosen view.
The other way to bypass the bug is to create your own cover image. If you do that, your cover will display in the collection instead of the Zazzle preview.

Good to know, Cat. I wish Zazzle would address all their long-standing technical issues. Especially issues that have been reported several times.
