Products do not show up in Zazzle's Google search results

My products do not show up in Zazzle’s Google search results, but only when I search directly on Zazzle.

For example, if I search for Rio de Janeiro postcards on Zazzle, my items will show up. However, if I search for “Rio de Janeiro postcards Zazzle” on Google, my products will not show up at all in the following Zazzle results. In general, the total number of products shown is much less.

Why is this limited? Which products are selected to be show in Google search results?

Not showing products in external search results, makes it really difficult to sell.

Do you have watermarks turned on? Z warns that this may keep them out of Google searches. Otherwise I don’t believe that Z does anything that keeps your products from being indexed by search engines.

I would think this would be a question for Google, not for Zazzle.

You can check the source code (right click and “view source”) for your individual product URLs to see if Zazzle has blocked them from Google by Zazzle adding coding such as:

content="noindex,follow"

I’ve not seen anything official from Zazzle on when/why they remove the “noindex” coding, but I would believe that if your item has sold, that should help play a role in the Zazzle Algo updating and removing the “noidex” coding for Google.

Thank you, but no index was not in the code, only no follow.. But I don’t think this was the reason.
