Just a heads up for others and I hope it helps if you find the same issue.
I noticed that my postcards and notepads were not showing up in the appropriate Marketplace Department even though the appropriate department is selected. The postcards were showing up under Greeting Cards and the notepads were displayed under Post-It notes.
I had to go into Edit Details, click change in the Marketplace Department (even though the appropriate department was selected) then click the correct department again. All products were immediately gone from the incorrect department and in the correct one.
I’m guessing changes in the background somehow affected those and there may be more I haven’t found yet.
Keeping that in mind, yesterday I designed a birthday postcard making sure it was designed on a “postcard” and that the marketplace department showed postcard. I posted it and at the time of posting it showed “postcard” as the Marketplace Department. It had/still has “postcard” added to the title but when I checked this morning the Marketplace Department shows Invitations & Stationery > Greeting Cards > Birthday Cards.
If this is a glitch, I’m making staff aware of it. If something is changing with the Marketplace Departments please let us know so we are aware where the postcards belong. Thanks for any guidance with this issue.
Here’s the postcard example I’m referencing Product ID: 256757824577880366 .
Hey Mark since I still hadn’t seen any update I did some investigating. Quite a number of my postcards were still showing in the marketplace as greeting cards. I believe the problem is solved. I noticed that many were listed under Thank You, Congratulations, and Birthday greeting cards. I removed those words from the title, description and keywords. All the cards seem to now be listed under Postcards in the marketplace now. Let’s hope it sticks.
