Products not indexing into department tree in back end

For the past month or so, new products that I’m creating are not finding their way into the marketplace department tree in the back end

eg - Postcard https://www.zazzle.com/hey_there_black_cat_folk_art_postcard-256041954753112882 when I edit details and look at the marketplace department it says it’s correct “Invitations & Stationery > Postcards”

Then when I click on All Departments - Invitations - postcards - get the “sorry no products found”

If you then view public store front from the 'no products found page"

the product does appear.

Similar problem with the bandana collars - can’t be found in backend search as they have not been indexed in the department tree even though edit details says they have

And these were created 26th February so over 3 weeks to find their way home

Other stores having the same problem - new products created since end of february not getting indexed in department tree and unable to be found in backend search

edited to add - this also causes a problem when trying to add products to a collection using the search function in edit collection

I’ve got similar problems but my main issue in addition my notification bell has been stuck on 2 for several days now along with new products not showing up in my shop! I can log in and log out but it’s still 2. I feel my store isn’t getting any updates at all. It’s frustrating because this is the third time this has happened in about 8 weeks!

Indeed a big problem. Also search for any product, for instance mugs, and not all mugs are shown (backend).

I have a product created in 2013 that isn’t sorted into the proper category. I probably have more, but just noticed this one this morning after reading your post.

Updating royalties is leaving gaps with this indexing issue. Hopefully it can get fixed soon. Thanks for keeping us updated.

I’ve had the same issues with the back end of my store since mid February but only noticed a few days ago that products created since then aren’t showing up in the marketplace. I reported it to support and gave them a link to one of the affected products as requested on April 2nd. I haven’t heard anything back since.

I really hope this will get fixed soon for all of us. It’s not much fun creating products not knowing if or when they will appear in the marketplace.

Happy to report - the bug has been squashed. A search in collections now finds recently posted products.
