I was considering adding a link to download the Z app on my affiliate blog posts, but I was curious, if I do, is it even possible to add a referral link? If so, would a cookie even stick while they downloaded the app? I’d like to inform people of the app, but not at the cost of losing a possible referral.

Assuming the app is downloaded through an app store and not through the Zazzle site, I think there would be little use in adding your affiliate link to the download link. I think the referral id has to be attached to an actual Z link for it to qualify and stick. It is an interesting thought though and I would love to hear from others if I am incorrect on this.

I agree with PC. I think there would be no way for Zazzle to track your referral id since it is the app store that hosts the app.
That is kind of what I thought, but the way cookies work confuses me a bit. lol
I certainly don’t want to do all that work for nothing so I’m leaning toward no link to the app. Unless I hear otherwise from those in the know.
