It has always been very easy to add items to collections and over the years some get really full. However, when a collection get’s too packed there is no easy way to remove items in bulk. Yes, you can try the backwards way to add stuff that are already in a collection in order to automatically delete them. However, if the collection is really full, you just get an error message saying you can’t add more products.
Removing items from the bottom of the collection is hard too. You have to press 5 different LOAD NOW buttons to get to the bottom of the page. Then, you remove 1 item the page refreshes then you have to click on 5 more different load now buttons. Then, remove and repeat…
SOLUTION: A checkbox next to each item in the collection with the following options on TOP
Remove From Collection
Move to Top of Collection
Move to Bottom of Collection
BONUS WISH: Add an option to the “ACTIONS BUTTON” that say’s remove from collection. We have great sorting features and adding features for collections. We just need an easier way to remove items in bulk. Thanks!!!
Good Suggestion @ameliacarrie however Zazzle should Add " REMOVE FROM COLLECTION" as the word Delete would mean to wipe out the product from your store.
Thanks BKMuir! I accidentally used the word delete a couple times. I updated the post so the word “remove” is in all instances. Don’t want Zazzle thinking I meant deleting any of our products.
Where the add products option is, it would be nice to also see a remove products option.
Only instead of showing a list of our products like when we add them, it would show only products in the collection with a place to mark them for deletion.
The other option would be if on the product details there was an option to remove from collections under add to collections. Then you can search your products by their name, select a group of them, go to details, and remove from collections all of them with 1 click.
