Removing the QR code from a flat card

Tried transferring an earlier Christmas design to another style card (the bracketed flat card).  A QR code appeared and greatly ruins the looks of the design.  I can see no way to remove it.  I checked the “remove attribution” box and I thought it had disappeared but upon the posting for sale completion, there it was and it looks awful.  Can it be removed?

Backend - find product > actions arrow > Edit Details > Merchandising options > change options > find the tick box for remove attribution > tick it > … I have the right to post… and then it should be removed. (know that the customer can still enable it in an effort to save a few cents)

We have to post products with the attribution enabled.  You may have to do the above from the product page… I don’t know if it was in this forum or the old one, but I think people had a better rate of success when doing it from the product page… although with the recent changes to the product page, who knows which will be more effective…

@PacifierCity       Thanks so much for your help.   It was stubborn–for awhile it would appear that it had disappeared only to return.  I kept going back into “edit details” and checking the “remove attribution” box and finally it seems as though it might stick this time.  Hope so–the flat cards really do not look very attractive with the QR code–not so bad on regular cards, though.  Thanks again.
