I’ve posted this before but it was ignored, so here’s a new thread.
When I want to reorder the products in a collection, they are flying in all directions and don’t stay put.
Since the standard is now to place new products at the bottom, I always have to drag them up, sometimes over 70 products. Not only an awful lot of work, but becoming a real nightmare when nothing sticks. A foolproof guarantee that new products won’t get seen.
This is in Chrome.
Thank you for your help.
@Anne I think the recommended group order changes automatically over time (from what I take from Mark’s comment) so it’s quite fluid so to speak. For example - depending on what customer are searching for/buying - may appear at the top of the collection (though I could totally be off with my thinking) Nothing is ever immediate as we know
So I’ve been experimenting with the settings for collections for a few weeks now and find that I really can’t agree with what is “recommended”. All my new products for the Holidays are dangling abandoned at the bottom of the collection. The custom order is still OFF. Can this please be fixed?? Thank you
Hi Mark, reordering collections is still glitchy. As Anne mentions, products are still flying about after moving a few of them. I have this problem with my Similar Style/Theme collections. They are set to Custom Ungrouped, not Recommended. I’ve had this problem for a couple of weeks now. If you can give it a try you will see that dragging and dropping them is unstable and the products pop out of their position after reordering a handful of them.
