Request to add a design to a foil layer for a product that doesn't have a foil layer to begin with

Yesterday I received an e-mail from Zazzle requesting me to add a design to the foil layer for 3 products of mine that don’t have a foil layer to begin with.

As previously mentioned by others in the past few days, we cannot add links to our products here yet because of some tech issues, so I’d appreciate if a Mod wouldn’t ask that again.

So it would be nice if someone from Zazzle would check my products and make them public again as they must remain as they are. I cannot do as requested because these specific types of products don’t allow foil layer and my intention wasn’t to add one to begin with.

@Anne-Marie You can add product links to forum posts (as far as I’m aware) just not images (reported just not fixed yet)

I received the same email as well, but I don’t even know which specific product it refers to. I checked my designs hidden by Zazzle and couldn’t find anything that I could connect to this message, unless the affected hidden designs appear in my account with a delay.

Sadly, I can’t yet on this new forum. I’ve tried.

I see. However my products in question were hidden by Zazzle last night. They are not public at the moment for everyone to see them so someone from Zazzle needs to check them. I cannot make them public or they will be deleted as per the e-mail received.

@Anne-Marie You could make them direct only for sharing purposes maybe?

Same for me. I think they are placed in “Optimization Needed” products and not “hidden” as stated in the e-mail.

Ufff.. :grinning_face: I am not trying anything on these products. Who knows if they will not be deleted? My work matters for me. I had 1 hidden product before. Since last night, I have 4. It’s very easy for them to check and fix this. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for pointing that out! You were right. I checked the discontinued products section and found the product the email was referring to.

I also received that yesterday on an old account that I can assure you I never created with a ‘spot UV or foil’ item since I haven’t even logged into it in years.

Exactly – so I kind of gave up. And I don’t recall ever doing a foil design that didn’t have a foil cover piece.
