I’ve revamped and added some great features to the (now slightly renamed) “Speed-Sharer for promoting from the Zazzle ShowMe Forum”.

I’ve added another feature - the ability to restrict the products / collections to those by a given store.

This means that it’s now really easy to:

  • promote products from your favourite store
  • see what you’ve already shared from your own store so you can keep on top of things :slightly_smiling_face:

Is adding tags now to our individual show me posts going to help your tool to find what you are looking for easier? Would like to help understand what it is best way to post them for your now new and improved very nifty tool.

I have also written some blurb on a few show me threads I have started. Not sure if helpful or not? it was more for me so that when you post it reads about what the post is rather than reading the name of the first product the thread owner had posted. I am funny like that, like things to look professional :joy: ! Just wondering if that would help or hinder or make no difference to your tool picking up the information? Let me know about the tagging how many generic words or phrases is ideal. also labels I didn’t realise about them until a bit late my early threads don’t have them… :disappointed_face: You also cannot go back and edit posts any more retrospectively which is my only frustration so far. I created a Mother’s Day thread and added dates for this year whoops :grimacing: But at least we can add tags in to help get discovered hopefully and even more I interestingly it seems to others posting not to sure about that what do you think?

I love the new Zazzle forum but I do want to get into the right practices for affiliates from the start, if we can, to help everyone out. 

So excited to have a look at this incredible tool myself, been busy designing, which I am honest i do better than marketing :joy:

It’s a shame but unlike the Zazzle product rss feed, the forum one doesn’t allow for any way to pull by, for example, search term, tags, labels etc.
Maybe they’ll change that in the future but for now, all you can do is post your gear using the html from the product page link button - or by using the Nifty tool specifically for posting in the forum.

None of any extra blurb you put into your post will be used by the Nifty Speed-Sharer for promoting from the ShowMe Forum.

That seems like a missed opportunity, I wonder what the tags and labels are for then? Hopefully in time this will be used. As for the text, I had better keep it short and sweet then!

Hey @HightonRidley  

I have a question and possibly a request depending on what your answer is.  

I set up an affiliate request thread for vintage designs.  My question is there a way to pull for the nifty speed sharer from that forum section and thread?  If not, how hard would it be for you to make it possible?   If so how would I go about getting it to pull from that thread?  Thanks in advance… I will try to check back later tonight or tomorrow for your answer.

Before I do anything abut it, I’m waiting for the next round of updates to the forum from Z’s service providers. I’m just being cautious as I don’t want to recode things and then find I have to make more changes!

Let’s see what the next round of community updates does.
