Royalty calculator shows different royalty than when chosen

I am trying to create a new card in square format, but the royalty in the calculator shows a different rate than on the publish product page

(I left the product hidden until this is solved)

Thank you.

People have been complaining about this for a few months now. I think someone has passed it along to the team.

Thank you, @idraw . That still does not look like a solution to me though … Both the advanced calculator and the indicated royalty on the publish product page should be the same and reflect the royalty without any deductions or add-ons.

FWIW, I am also currently still having the same issues. Posted that link to show that last month it was supposedly reported to tech. Yes, as you can see from the link,  it was “passed along to the tech team”.  Still waiting, still no fix for the problem, still nothing from mods updating the ongoing issue.
And so, here. we.are.

In your screenshot, the calculator on the left is showing the gross royalty you would earn. The one on the right is showing the royalty less the deduction if it is a third-party sale.

Zazzle’s calculators have been wonky for a very long time. Regardless of what they show though, your actual earnings are always calculated correctly per your percentage. Thus I no longer pay attention to the $ royalties shown in the calculators, instead I use my own “calculator”. See this thread.

Responding to my own post----Thinking about this further, and getting very frustrated, from my stance there will be no other acceptable answers about the iffy royalty calculator until the company that handles my income responds with a timely and thorough explanation. For me there aren’t any explanations from me or any other shops that can substitute for an answer/solution from Z. (Altho I appreciate all the various shops that have offered possible reasons why it is wonky) Have been waiting more than patiently, I believe, as have many others. Yep, feeling a little brusque right now.
