RSS feed returns (0) results

I been using Niftytoolz for years to automatically post new store content to Twitter. My RSS feed suddenly quit working and hasn’t updated since Feb 10th. Since our Earnings history wasn’t working either, I thought I’d wait until that was working again, hoping that whatever is going on behind the scenes to fix that might also be affecting this.

I’m not a computer guru, so I don’t know much about rss feeds and am trying to puzzle out why it’s not working. I used a feed validator and apparently, the feed is still valid. I realize Niftytoolz is a bit old and the creator of the tool is no longer available to help, so I’d like to know if it’s still a tool that will work for me going forward or has something changed on Zazzle?.

Can you respond please @Scott   or @Mark  ? No one else seems to have an answer for me.

@Baylee  I had no idea you could post content via RSS to X but now (since I know that’s doable) I have to learn more about it. You are right, currently the Zazzle RSS feed for stores is broken but if you have collections you could maybe post them on X for the time being? The collection feed works for me (I just tested it) while the store feed doesn’t.

@Baylee  So strange. If I test my RSS feed in Vivaldi my store feed (https://www.zazzle.com/store/sanfrancisco/feed) works but it doesn’t via Nifty. I need to think about this some more.

Thanks for your replies @MOM  , I appreciate you looking into this a bit for me. Sadly, the collection feed via Nifty isn’t working for me either so I’ve been creating manual  posts for the time being.

@Baylee  Hmm, that’s to bad. I use Nifty on many of my sites (as an example at https://sanfrancisco.zone/) and for me the collections work. I didn’t know Mark Highton Ridley is not supporting his scripts anymore nor that he wrote one to post to X but I would love to learn more about it. I tried to find info about it at https://niftytoolz.com/ but didn’t invest a lot of time today searching for it. I cross my fingers that everything will soon work again (like a charme) for us.

I didn’t know about the Mark Highton Ridley and Nifty situation either. I just recently discovered I couldn’t get some things to work. I haven’t had the time to run down a reason.

If you scroll down to ‘The Zazzle Nifty CPanel’ on https://niftytoolz.com you’ll find the control panel that I use to create the feed…it’s the same one you would use for Facebook or emails, etc.  I use that feed in an IFTTT applet to create the automatic posts to X. Somewhere in all my searching for an answer to this glitch, I saw a post by Mark from late last year, saying goodbye and that he was retiring. I had wondered why I hadn’t seen him in the forums lately. Too many old-timers are gone from the forums these days and I miss all of them!

@Baylee  Oh, that’s the same ‘The Zazzle Nifty CPanel’ I’m using as well. And I have seen today it’s not working but I haven’t used it on the Nifty site my self for many moons. I just copy and paste the code from my own site when I create something new. My code for general Zazzle searches is broken as well (see at https://sanfrancisco.zone/2026_bestsellers/ as an example) but the coding for collections still works - I just created a new page today for No Kings Day (not published yet).

I will beam you my code over via chat - then you just have to edit your ambassador number and the collection info.

And I will learn about IFTTT applets (newland for me). :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m sad too to hear that about Mark but he deserves to take it slow now. He has been so generous to us all!!

I know your response was addressed to MOM, but I much appreciated your response about Mark Highton-Ridley and the Nifty tools. Somehow, I must have missed the post or email about his retirement. He was a treasure!

And, I agree with you… Sadly, too many old-timers are either gone now or have one foot out the door, taking their wealth of knowledge and experience with them.

You’re so right @Saints_Aplenty   It takes longer to get answers on the forums these days too, because a lot of the people that knew all the answers have left us. Thank goodness for the other ‘Top Solution Authors’ who are still around helping us out!  (Sorry, I couldn’t get my computer to type your names properly or I’d have listed you all here, but you know who you are and we appreciate you … lol. )

I sent you an email now @Baylee   :slightly_smiling_face:

@Fiona  @Baylee  @Saints_Aplenty   So tonight I started trying to design something but after I had worked some time on a design I literally have seen text moving in the Zazzle editor from right to left (and neither me nor my cat had touched the keyboard) and the text just vanished and was gone - just like that!! Like there was a gremlin in my laptop. Crazy!! So I stopped working on my design and thought a bit about RSS and Zazzle.

Mainly because I had tested a script by Z-FEED – The Zazzle Product Feed ©2025 BY MATCHUP SOLUTIONS (https://www.z-feed.com/) earlier today and I liked it so much that I added it to my Zazzle resource page. I only tested the free version but that one is great as long as you wanted to show items from your store or your collection but it (the free version) doesn’t support the global Zazzle search which I had sometimes used using Mark’s script (Niftytoolz). Since I now know that Mark has retired I knelt a bit more into it (motivated by Z-FEED of course) and I actually ended up with a tiny working WordPress plugin doing a global Zazzle search for me if I omit Zazzle’s RSS/query parameter pt (which stands for “product type”). So now I would like to know if pt is outdated, meaning not supported anymore or just temporary broken?

Many thanks already in advance for your time answering.
