I’m trying to find out if it’s possible to put the items in my store on sale, or to offer coupons/promo codes to buyers. Depending on how I word the question, I get conflicting answers from Google’s AI response.
It either tells me this:
Yes, you can offer discounts or sales for your products on Zazzle by creating promotional codes or utilizing the built-in “sale” features on the platform, allowing you to set specific price reductions for certain items or during specific timeframes to attract more customers.
Or this:
No, you can’t offer sales or coupons on Zazzle directly, but you can use promo codes and offers that Zazzle provides.
The first answer is a figment of AI’s fertile imagination…. No, you cannot put your own items on sale or offer coupons. You cannot put however promote Zazzle’s copious offerings- there’s usually something on sale every day.
You can also, of course, alter the price of your products by changing your royalty percentage, but that’s not quite the same feeling, is it…
Another way to think about it is that you’re licensing Zazzle to use your illustrations on their products, which are what’s being sold. You’re selling nothing and can’t, therefore, generate sale prices. It’s no different from the greeting card industry where they’re the ones selling the cards, not the designers.
