I’m having this intermittent problem where when I go to work on some of my Saved Designs, I get the message “Oops! We can’t seem to find the product you’re looking for.” Now, I know in the past that this sometimes happened if I used an existing product and make changes, then leave it in saved designs, and reopen that same original product, edit it again, but then delete it. However, in this latest instance, I have wrapping paper that I made from scratch- I got the blank product from Create Your Own and added my pattern to it, then left it in Saved Designs because I was deciding which background color to use. It opened fine the other day, and now today it won’t open.
I also had this happen this week. I was trying to make a return address label. Went to post it for sale and it errored out. When I tried to go back, it was gone. I tried to go back to the ‘post’ page, and it was also gone. When I tried to go to Saved Designs, it was there briefly. I clicked on it, and it gave me the same ‘oops window’ you said. Then when I went back to Saved Designs, it was completely gone forever. I had to re-build it and it posted fine.
Hey @Connie , I’ll report this now, I was able to repro this! Thanks.
@Connie I stopped using saved designs as this is a recurring issue. I now post a product for sale as hidden. Then after I finished it, save it for sale and then delete the original draft (for not risking deleting the newly finished design as the order in which products are appearing at the back end keeps changing). It is sad that it has come to this, multiple work-arounds.
I do the same thing if I have invested sufficient time in it – I publish it as “hidden” and know it will be there and don’t have to start from scratch again.
@jophb @Connie Hi – same as I said to Connie above – if you have put time in, publish as “hidden” and then don’t worry. it happened to me often enough that I never wanted it to happen again, and the “hidden publish” route seems to be the safest way to go. Would rather not have to do it, so perhaps someone will look into it. I never reported it - just took another route.
Yes, that just happened to me yesterday. Created a new design — and thought I was deleting the old design — but it was out of order, and I accidentally deleted the new design. ![]()
Hey @VivianD117 ! The problem is that I couldn’t even publish at all. It continued to error out every time I tried to publish.
I actually never work out of ‘saved designs’. I always publish. I only go into the saved ones if the system crashes and that’s the only place I can find the latest copy.
Thank you very much.
Uggh, that messes with my whole workflow! I rarely post single products- usually I make a whole collection at once, so I can get everything looking just right, then I write up my titles, tags and descriptions in a word file, and copy and paste to each product as I post it. Having to stop and write up the metadata for each product individually would take a lot longer. It’s definitely awful that we have to do all these work-arounds.
@Fiona this just happened to me again. Same exact thing. Went to post, had an error, tried to go back and it was gone. This time it didn’t even show up in ‘saved designs’ though. This time a poker chip.
