Search terms disappear from backend search bar after returning results

I’ve noticed that search terms are disappearing from the backend search bar after they’ve returned results.

In the past, we could clear the results of our backend searches by clicking on the ‘x’ that would appear in the search bar.

This ‘x’ as well as the search terms are missing – please reinstate both.

Clicking on the “All Products” link seems to clear the search results, but I agree, we need the old functionality back.
