It would be great if the secondary content (background) designers were popped into the Creator Panel in the design tool BELOW the original product designer. This would prevent secondary content designers from getting unrelated messages and help direct the customer to the right person if they want matching items or have product questions.

Oh yes please!!! It’s better than it used to be since there’s now a picture of the background vs the design that goes with the designer, but even so, I still get an average of 4-5 requests per week that ought to be directed to the real/template designer not to me.
Absolutely right… This was a major bone of contention when first introduced. It is just wrong to stack the secondary designers on top of the primary designer. I will spare you hearing my opinion about the secondary content in general again… I know you heard me last time and I haven’t changed my mind since then.
