My guess would be a plain envelope on the inside for no tint. You know how the insides of some envelopes have color or pattern on the inside so someone can’t read your mail through the envelope is my guess for if you added tint and checked the box.
yeah - it’s the gray crosshatch pattern put on the inside of envelopes so that you cannot hold them up to the light and see/read the contents.
Useful in particular if you are sending a little check with your card!

If I send a cheque in the post I always put it inside a piece of paper and assumed everyone else did the same. Learning something new every day ![]()
