Sharing collections on Pinterest gives distorted images on lower half of pin

I have been sharing collections on Pinterest and I just noticed today that many of them have distortion and broken lines, blurred or illegible text in the images that display in the lower half of the collections pin. The top looks OK, but the bottom is unclear and does not present the products well to the viewer.  I noticed this using both Safari and Chrome browsers. Here are some examples:

Please advise on how this can be resolved. There seem to be many product view/image view issues lately and I wonder if this one with collection pins is related.
