Similar Themed Baby Shower Card Copying Exactly My Font, My First and Last Names, Address, Date, etc

Hello, I was hoping you could provide some advice. I noticed a seller has made similar themed baby shower invitations to mine using AI. The thing that raises an alarm for me is that they have on more than one of their invitations, copied exactly the font style, wording on invitation, names of mother to be and RSVP contact, address where the party is located, dated and time, and registry information. Even their description of their card is almost identical with just a few words changed. I don’t know if he is doing this with other designs of designers on Zazzle too. I am not the kind of person to report someone else to get them into trouble, but I find that this is blatant copying. What would you advise me to do?

Report him/his shop to Zazzle, and let Zazzle decide.

Report it. Provide Zazzle with all of this information and they should take their product down. Do not feel bad about reporting someone who is copying off of you. If they are too lazy to come up with their own invitation details and are copying your description, you need to report them. Be sure to check if they copied your tags as well.

I’ve had this happen numerous times. The people who do this are most likely doing this to other designers as well.

Thank you both for your reply. I have never reported anything before, but based upon your advice, I did report this. I am not quite sure what happens after but greatly appreciate your help.

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. It’s one thing to see similar themes or styles that happens naturally in seasonal categories like baby showers. But when someone copies the exact wording, names, RSVP info, and registry details across multiple listings, that’s not inspiration. That’s duplication. And it’s absolutely worth flagging. I’d suggest taking screenshots of your original design and theirs, saving copies of the descriptions, and noting the timestamps if you can. Then report it through Zazzle’s infringement form.
