Not new to POD but new to Zazzle. I’m curious why Zazzle has Sponsored shopping ads from other brands on their product pages. It seems counterproductive to have the same products from other companies on your site that could potentially lead customers off the Zazzle website.

It probably does lead customers off the site if they haven’t got an ad-blocker installed - either way though Zazzle makes money via the sale on their site or via the sale from the offsite ad.
It’s their business to do as they see fit.
I doubt if they’ll link out to another company where you can personalize the product so we still have a small chance to make a sale

True in some/most points. But I had posted a screenshot some time ago here on the boards of an ad leading to a customizable fanny pack for under two bucks. So that bothered me too at that time . Nonetheless I’m excited to be here because even if I don’t sell a lot (or at all) I learn plenty which has value to me personally.
