I’ve run into a bit of a head-scratcher with the Silver Charm Bracelet and wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this or if the tech team can take a look.
When I select the bracelet from the ‘Create Your Own’ menu, it proudly displays a 5-star rating with 196 reviews —looking very high-end and popular (see my screenshot attached). However, the moment I add my design and post it for sale, the product page insists it only has 3 stars and 2 reviews.
I’m hoping we can fix this unfortunate discrepancy, as I’d hate for customers to miss out on a great product because the ratings aren’t carrying over correctly.
Unless, of course, the algorithm took an instant dislike to my design and staged a tiny protest by demoting it… in which case, oh dear!
I’m very sorry this went missed until now. Thank you for reporting the issue. I have flagged it with the team. I’ll let you know when there is an update.
@Mark I have noticed this on Mini Candles too. These reviews are all for the ‘white mini candle favor’ when you click into different ones at the top of search results for ‘mini candles’
Product Reviews are based on department + product type. The default department for this product example is: accessories> jewelry> bracelet (which the cyo version uses) has 197 reviews.
However, the department your example has been published to is: weddings > gifts > wedding party gifts > bridesmaid gifts department, only has 2 reviews for this product type.
