Hi there, I’m not sure where to ask this…
Can you please point me to the community standards for self-uploaded product thumbs? I thought I read in one of Zazzle’s communications about these, when they were new, that the images could not have any extra text on them, other than what’s on the product. But now we see self-uploaded product thumbs with text which has been added by the designer, not by Zazzle. Are we now permitted to advertise on our product thumbs??

The term more commonly used for these is “cover photos”. It’s possible that searching the forums for cover photo rules might turn up what you are looking for. Also, when you post a cover photo, there are three rules listed as part of the process. The rules there appearing are:
Must be at least 1480 x 1480 pixels
✓You must have full rights to use the photo
✓Cannot include logos, marketing text, or website links

Unfortunately, we’re providing some conflicting information in the “DONTs” section of that pop-up box. Marketing text is actually just fine. Hopefully we’ll get this corrected soon.
