The new Modify Design tool loses all of the stats for that product

I am using Windows 10 on an HP Laptop

I needed to fix the back of a greeting card so this morning I edited the design and went to post it for sale. But I realized I would lose all of the stats and didn’t finish posting it, deciding to wait until I got a reply back from the Help Desk about something.

Then their was the Announcement about the New Banner Tools so I tried that out and Modified the Design to fix the problem.  The trouble with that is that the stats are all gone, and it says it was designed today, not in 2010 as the original was posted. Fortunately it did not delete or overwrite my original design, so I still have stats on that design which I can’t show publicly because of the design issues (I have posted that as a separate Topic).

So, I thought I’d use the new tool and modify the design, so I did that naming it as having used the modified tool. Here are the stats for the three designs.

I posted in another section but realized I should post it here so I can get some help with this.

This is the link to my other post which provides Screenshots of the issue.

I’m posting the link because those Screenshots show up larger than if I copy from that post and paste them here.

Please help me.

Are you sure you clicked the “Replace Product” button (and not the “Sell it” button)?

Did that new design immediately show up at the top of your “Newest to Oldest” product list? If so, you published a new product instead of replacing it.

When you make an edit, then click “Replace Product” then go through the confirmations to do so, it grays out the original product for a bit while it’s under review. No new product shows at the top of your “Newest to Oldest” sort.

Check on that first to see if it helps?

What you are calling the new modify design tool is just  a new incarnation of the edit design button, or whatever it was called in the past. It’s not the Replace Product button referenced by KC above and it won’t replace the product it will simply allow you to edit the design and post a new product for sale..

As I have said I do not have that tool!

Zazzle support has just informed me that the “Replace Product” tool is being tested by a few select Creators. I hope it works well for you all, so maybe it will be made available to the rest of us.

You are correct Windy.

I do not have that tool, yet, either. I have asked for an ETA several times, but I still have not received an answer.
