The number setting for adjusting the tile size cannot be found in the effect. It is usually located above the tiling. Has it been moved somewhere?
If it is fabric you are tiling, the “fabricator” is found just below the layers button.
@cationa change the tiling option from “Centered” to Basic then scroll down to Tile Size where you can change the tile size
