I vote SUCKS for the crop tool. Can not trim just one edge without it zooming in image. Maybe I am not using tool correctly? If I am having issues using the tool, how is a customer going to use the tool?

I like it! It makes it so much easier to crop exactly how I want it, instead of having to go in and out of the old crop tool with a lot of trial and error to get the exact crop I needed.
The trick is to grab the bigger white corner handles and move those, not just the edges or the small “dots” in the corners. Grab where the green arrow is pointing, not where the red arrow is pointing.
Also, if you find that you are accidentally cropping your graphics when you don’t mean to, just by resizing, look in the settings and check “Lock aspect ratio.” then you don’t have to hold down shift to avoid cropping.

Thanks for reply. I was misunderstanding how to use the crop tool. For customers I would see it being confusing. I’m really good at solving puzzles in videos games. So it’s a little frustrating to have trouble learning to use this tool.

It totally sucks. The stupid thing is always shifting around. Why aren’t there cropping handles on the sides and top/bottom? Good grief.

Thanks for mentioning “Lock aspect ratio”! I found that mine was on and it was preventing me from cropping the bottom of a picture. Now I can finally do a simple crop again!
