Tiling not working for grouped semicircles

Hi, I am trying to create a tiled pattern using the semicircles from the Elements - Shapes menu. I can group them together, but then the tiling button is greyed out. I’ve just tested it with circles instead, and that works fine, but the semicircles won’t tile.

I don’t think you can use the tile feature for any of the ‘Shapes’ or ‘Icons’. It appears to only be available for the ‘Configurable Shapes’ and some of the ‘Lines’.
