Transfer design carrying shirt color to selected product

Hoping this is a glitch that will self resolve, but just in case…

  1. Transparant png put onto a burgundy t-shirt. https://www.zazzle.com/pd/spp/pt-zazzle_shirt?tdid=896fd9fa-d466-432d-b513-110b030ffc92

  2. “transfer to another product” is carrying the burgundy color I chose for the t-shirt to the product somebody would choose to transfer the design to. https://www.zazzle.com/pd/spp/pt-zazzle_hat?tdid=896fd9fa-d466-432d-b513-110b030ffc92

I believe this has always been what happens. To transfer/copy items without the product background color, go into edit design. Select/open LAYERS on left. At top menu, select EDIT/SELECT ALL/copy.

Open the product you want to transfer to in EDIT mode and PASTE. Only the various elements will copy, not the background color.

Or (even easier) Do the transfer and in the Design of product transferred to, change the BACKGROUND color to your choice.

That’s happened for as long as I can recall.. like BKMuir says - just go in and remove the background color.

Hey @Van ,

I reported this issue to the team. I will let you know when I have an update.

(Smacking my self on top of head) how have I never noticed this before… I wasn’t trying to transfer anything, spotted it by accident. ***** My main concern is how this might look to potential buyers who want to transfer to another product.
