Unable to add to this collection from my other stores

I waited 3 days for indexing on this new Cross-Sell collection but it remained locked all that time. I tried making it public through the ‘Share’ button several times and finally gave up and deleted the collection then remade it.

This time it’s not showing as locked but I’m still not able to add any products from various stores. The products show the collection as ‘not eligible’ when I try to add them. The correct stores are all listed in the availability section and the collection is showing as enabled and active. Girls Gone Wild Bachelorette 

Is this a glitch or do I really have to wait another day? I’d like to get this darn thing finished!

@Baylee   You can’t add other store’s products to a cross sell - it’s always been that way. They have to belong to the store that created the cross sell.

If you want to mix and match from different stores - change it to gift

 Well bless my foggy brain, I must be getting senile. Of course you’re right @Sara_H and I seem to have forgotten that little fact. I’ll carry on like I’m in my right mind.
