Using the oval element to design something in a circle (forget how I used to do it!)

It has been quite awhile since I did this and now I cannot recall.  It was something like a 2 or 3 step process, I believe.  You would place the oval over the area you wished to use and the rest would be cut away.

Group the oval and the picture. Then click MASK.
