Video Thumbnail Problems

I am hoping some of you geniuses can give me advice. I have created a few product videos (let’s be real they are slideshows). I used Canva to create them. I cannot figure out how to get a good thumbnail to show. I am not sure if it is a Canva issue or a Zazzle issue or a me issue. My videos show random cover images. Not the first image, not the last, sometimes it is blank. Does anyone know a fix? I tried searching the WWW and found nothing that helps.

Any advice appreciated. I am concerned about the new feature of these videos showing up as the first product image on the search pages. Thank you!

No news as to when this will get fixed

I don’t think we can choose the thumbnail, perhaps there’s some algorithm that decides which frame is the best but sometimes misses? Idk.

Btw, you got a small typo in the blue shape “availble” > “available”.

Thanks! I did read those posts but it seemed a different issue, maybe I was wrong. I will wait and see if the overall issue gets addressed and solves my trouble - thanks! :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks! yeah I saw that typo but I didnt feel like redoing the video since it isnt even showing correctly haha. :slightly_smiling_face:

@shoshannahscrib  yeah I noticed after I’d already hit reply - sorry about that. The video thumbnails are auto populated which means we can’t pick which one to show.

I think it shows the first frame by default (though I could be wrong)

Definitely not the first frame. It’s totally random and looks AWFUL. Sigh. I might just have to use fancier software than Canva. Thanks for trying to help me! :slightly_smiling_face:

@shoshannahscrib  I don’t think fancier software will help tbh if it’s zazzle’s system choosing a random frame to show. No matter what software you use - it will always be random it seems. Canva is just as good for slideshow type of videos.
