W8 form renewal

Hi…Struggling down here in Australia with the W8 form (renewal). Can anyone offer some help as to the Special Rate & Conditions section?  I suspect the page and paragraph has changed from the last time I did the form :woozy_face:

Special rates and conditions, add Article 12 Paragraph 2

Claim a 5% rate of whithholding

Specify type 0f income you write earning Copyright royalties from use of Artwork

and that’s it nothing else, only your signature and the date, let us know how you go because soon we might have to do it as well

Thanks I am also renewing mine and after many years still can’t remember what to do and I have done a few now. i just put it in but didn’t remember the extra part Article 12 Para 12 :sleepy_face: thought it was too easy… just praying it works now :crossed_fingers: Thanks again :revolving_hearts:

Yes thanks Para 2 :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: typed it wrong… Although I went through the realms of instructions and failed to work out where and what that actually was? But I do remember doing it last time, the form has changed a bit since then though, but hopefully that will work. Thanks again :heart:
