Waiting for W8-BEN approval. Is 2 months usual at the moment?

I submitted the W8-BEN form in early March. Soon after that, I was asked to make some small corrections, which I did, and sent in the updated form on 7th March. Since then, I haven’t heard anything at all. Is this usually how long it takes at the moment? I’m in the UK.

that sounds unusual. my experience: I’ve heard back within 2-3 weeks.

OK, thanks for your reply. I wonder what is taking so long. I’ve emailed to ask for any updates, so hopefully will find out soon.

I’d say no news is good news … but 2 months *is* a long time to wait. may be quite the backlog of W8BEN forms to process?
