Welcome to the new Zazzle Community! It’s live and ready for you to start threads, collaborate with fellow creators, learn from others, and share what you’ve been working on.
Poke around, test things out, and get a feel for the new system. Since this space is brand new, a few things may still be settling into place. If something feels off, or you have thoughts on how to make it better, tell us in the Community feedback category. We’re building this alongside you, and the best ideas tend to come from the people using it.
Actually that is the one feature I don’t like. I have zero interest in the Show Me Forums and it seems they dominate several of the forum views. Hopefully I’ll find other ways to view the forum and continue to ignore them. I was hoping the new system would let me pick which Topics I could see when I log in. All in all I do find the text easier to read.
I’ve been relatively inactive in the forums for a few years now for personal health reasons - But coming back today, I am totally shocked to find very few posts are any newer than 2022! Between this lack of a vital resource for Creators, the absence of any up-to-date designer user guides, the limited capabilities of the Zee Chat tool, and the limited days/hours/adequate staff available for live designer assistance, it is easy to conclude that Zazzle is trying to discourage folks from doing anything more creative on the Zazzle platform beyond uploading a single image file that is already exactly composed and sized to fit the product they want it printed on. The problem with this is without exact product templates that include all sides of the product (whether in 3D or unfolded blueprint mode) and with accurate safe-print guidelines, it is exceedingly difficult to compose such images off-line, nor adapt designs on the fly for new products, as well as a host of other difficulties, inefficiencies, and online digital storage-space saving needs.
Obviously, Zazzle has and is continuing to make such drastic changes solely for the sake of cutting their costs in a way to maintain or even to increase their internal profit margins with zero regard for the fact they are drastically increasing their Designer’s own labor costs. These decisions not only take away from the value of many products to Buyers (having less desireable options available to them) but also results in their being less value of the Zazzle Platform to Designers who cannot practically recover the exponentially higher costs of their labors since there is a limit to how much we can up our royalty percentages that the market will accept. This business model changes Zazzle from one that made it unique, special, and highly attractive to both Designers and Buyers to become nothing more than an overly expensive version of Vista Print and just about every other Print-on-Demand services. I am really disappointed and struggling to decide whether to even bother trying to continue on this platform.
Is there still a way to see a forum poster’s Zazzle store? If there there is, I can’t find it. Without this feature, how can forum members view a poster’s shop when they ask for help with their shop?
@VivianD117 I think the group represents your pro level status from what I can gather (eg creator 2= basic, creator 3 = bronze, creator 4 = silver, creator 5 = gold, creator 6 = platinum, creator 7 = diamond.)
You can’t move from the group that you’re in unless you “level up” (eg - earn more to move from silver to gold)
I saw that also and did try to delete a post and got a popup that said I was not authorized to delete my own post. Agree that it would be good to delete or at least have the option to edit
I actually like the fact that people cannot automatically see our stores. It would be great if we could choose whether or not that happens. If I want people to see my shop, I could easily just share the link.
It would also be nice if we could hide our online activity stats and be given more control over our privacy settings.
I found it in my profile – but I could not find it again, but you should see it if you fool around. Who is our moderator – they should be able to respond. It relates to your ranking so I don’t think it is anything mysterious.
