What are your Zazzle Linkovers Like This Week? I've seen a jump

The timing of the the jump in my linkovers coincides with my ‘back at it’ activity this past week. But I’m wondering if it’s just a coincidence?

Are others experiencing a jump in linkovers?

For those who don’t already know how to access linkovers you go to your ‘account’ then to ‘earnings’ and select the ‘abassador’ tab to view your linkovers. Linkovers relate to traffic coming to Zazzle via your links ( or bots … and by bots that might be other sites doing a mass crawl of your products. I don’t understand it properly but I think this accounts for surges when we all see the same pattern).

I notice an increase on the 27th thru the 30th but looking over earlier stats I see other increases now and then as well. I did notice something on mine, though…

From 4-1-25 to 5-12-25 I see what - for me - was a really big increase comparing the numbers to before and after.
That it started on the dark day of April 1st is interesting.

Overall my linkovers are so pathetically low I’m not sure my info is of much help.

Hi, Leah.

i haven’t checked my linkovers in quite awhile. Like you, I see a huge jump beginning on the 28th.

i did notice that Zazzle sent both an email and a text announcing Labor Day sales starting on the 28th.

I’m not sure how much I trust this metric, at least in typical situations. However, getting hit twice with sales info on the same day as a customer would make sense for lots of linkovers. Have you found it exceptionally helpful (and accurate) in the past?

Along with this, did your sales pick up that day at all? My sales are sporadic, but I did sell something in the past couple of days.

And how are your sales - have you sold anything or no sales at all? 🙄

I get sales daily but there wasn’t a jump. Not at all.

I make sales daily but there wasn’t a jump in sales that I’m aware of. They’ve been lower than in recent times this August. But given you also note a jump I think it’s bots crawling our stores.

I wonder too if it’s people maybe following up to see about the advertised sales. Probably a mixture of both.

A jump in linkovers led to not one single sale. As a matter of fact, I’ve never found linkovers to be related in any way to sales, so a rarely look at them.

It is very unusual and sad that there are sudden jumps in links, without a single sale,… For days without sales,… I hope that this will really, soon, change, and the work of all of us will pay off,… 🤔

Yes, I do have a spike in linkovers on the 28th, 29th, and 30th.

I think your hypothesis about the bots is correct, based on pretty much everyone here saying linkovers jumped despite zero correlation in sales.

my linkovers for August 28, 29, and 30 also experienced a doubling, tripling, and quadrupling over the usual numbers of the past 3-4 months, with no corresponding increase in sales.

I’ve been hearing reports that the percentage of bots roaming the internet has increased exponentially, so I wouldn’t be at all surprised that we’re seeing it here, too.

Same here, higher numbers for 28, 29, 30. Many reported an extreme spike over the first week of April when the AP launched, too. I think when so many see a spike at same time, yeah, it’s got to be bot activity. Could be Zazzle doing something or maybe Pinterest crawling their own site for internal reasons. I don’t know, I  just think the probability of such spikes being due to a sudden surge of customer interaction is pretty low.
