I want to ask a question about the invitations for Bourbon tasting party venue. Yesterday I had created a few and listed them with a G rating. Then a few hours later I could not see them in my public store, and wondered why? I found they had a PG rating. I asked one of my friends to check the listing and she told me she could not view the invitation even in a moderate setting.
I am not sure why my invitation fell into this adult category because it seems wrong. Considering I searched Zazzle marketplace and found thousands of invitations for a bourbon and other alcoholic beverages tasting parties or events and they were all G rating.
Wondering were those invitations “grandfathered in” and has the adult content been updated?
My friend suggested that I update the title, the description and the tags, but could not shake that adult content rating. I ended up deleting my invitations. Can somebody please share with me what constitutes adult content on Zazzle.
Considering we sell barware, with in-house mockup views of wine, champagne or beer, the adult violation for a bourbon tasting on my invitations is confusing.
Here is a copy of one of my invitations…not sure what caused the adult content rating. I did not take a screenshot of my title or description, but know I did not mention anything that would relate to children, minors, I found my tags > Tags I used: bourbon tasting invitation whiskey birthday invite 40th birthday party masculine birthday invitation distillery party invite bourbon themed party whiskey tasting night milestone birthday invitation men’s birthday celebration
I don’t understand why your invitation got an adult content rating either as this theme is popular on Zazzle. I would contact Zazzle Content Review and inquire to know specifically what triggered that rating. Perhaps it is something easily remedied and you could republish the design.

Thank you…this automatic rating change has never happened to me before and I have been here since 2009. It is really confusing. I followed your tips and contacted zazzle content review. I hope they tell me what triggered the rating .

I can’t find your invitation to check out the tags. The only difference I can see between your design and others in the birthday niche is that you are explicitly inviting them to drink. Most just use the graphic and say Cheers to 40 years something like that. That does seem like splitting hairs though. Especially since Prosecco and Pearls Bridal Showers invite people to drink too. They aren’t put in the adult category. It probably is that they aren’t inviting to a tasting. Maybe I am wrong though. I will be very interested in why this is happening.
I want to thank you again for pointing me in the right direction. I heard from content review this morning and submitted everything that they requested. they are researching why my rating was changed and hopefully i will know what triggered the G to PG to R rating.
That’s great! Let us know what the response is from content review.

I didn’t receive an email response from Content Review, but I noticed that the invitation I had deleted due to the R rating was reinstated and now shows a G rating. I’m not sure what triggered the R rating in the first place, but I’m glad the review team recognized that my store does not create restricted or adult content. It’s reassuring to see that the product was restored correctly.
