What Happens if I opt out of Ambassador Program????

Is it possible to opt out of Ambassador Program and go back to getting royalties the old way?  I do not need to be in the referral area at all. I will happily give up the volume bonus.

I believe the volume bonus has been retired….

This is correct.

As of April 1st, 2025, the Volume Bonus program has been retired. Bonuses will still be paid for all sales made before April 1st, 2025.”

The only thing quitting being an ambassador will get you is that you will no longer even have the opportunity to get a referral at all. Royalties will still be calculated exactly the same way. (so no, you cannot quit and ‘go back’ to the old way of calculating royalties).

I believe opting out would only remove you from being able to earn referrals.  It wouldn’t make any difference to the new fee system.  There’s no opting out of that.

You agree to the Ambassador program or the affiliate program when you agree to the Terms of Service that allows you to make products on Zazzle. So no, you can’t opt out. You don’t seem to understand how it works. Opting out means that you will never get a self-referral or referral on another product you pin to Pinterest etc. It doesn’t mean other people stop recommending yours, so you don’t lose the marketing fee.

Being part of the Ambassador Program is not required. You can go to your account settings, click on the Ambassador tab, and you should be able to opt out if you want to. But like everyone has said, opting out won’t stop the 35-50% marketing fees and you won’t earn referrals anymore.

 Wrong area sorry

Where is the ambassador tab?

NVM I found it, but this is all so overwhelming. All I’ve ever wanted to do is make fun designs, put them on products, and get them seen and sold via a marketplace like Zazzle.

Will payment remain like it is except you will not get extra for items you send for your own products that are sold?

I have not made a referral sale in two months maybe four in all this time and I am spending and will continue to spend on promoting. It just seems to not matter. I would think the Ambassador program should be the norm.  I guess what I am asking is -  Will I continue to make the same amount for sales as I already am now. Will I make the same amounts I used to make even when my own promoted items are sold?

Just imagine there is no ambassador program will it be just like it was before?
