What the best advice can you give about the look of the store?

My store Veselka means Rainbow in Ukrainian

My store is very simplistic and I don’t know how to improve it. Do I need to create mock ups?

Please take a look and let me know what would you add if it was your store?

Thank you so much in advance for your advice and any help.

I’ll start with your “About” section, because that’s where I started. I read the first few lines before the …More button. When I clicked on that, I walked away, and didn’t explore further.

Why? It’s just too long, and it will take a lot of time and effort for me to assess what products and designs you’re offering in your store. So, work on shortening that section into no more than 5-6 lines.

I would start with sorting your products into Categories. You could have basic categories such as Home Decor; Patriotic; Occasions. Then under Patriotic you would have subcategories for Ukraine and Canada, then under those have subcategories for the flags, and whatever other patriotic designs you have. Under Occasions you could have a subcategory for Weddings and one for Greeting cards. And then subcategories under those for the different designs or themes.

Wow I get lost creating categories I had so many from the beginning, so I decided to hide them not to make it harder for the customers :D. I will take a look into that, thank you Connie.

@Jadendreamer13   I’ve done it :D, shortened it, thank you very much.

@Jadendreamer13  and @Connie  I made my store prettier with mockups I learned how to do them :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: and I am happy. I just love how people taught me to do that, very grateful to all and everybody.

I would work on your about…

From my understanding of Zazzle’s guidelines, the About section is meant to introduce the designer and give customers a clear sense of the style and type of work they’ll find in the store. It doesn’t need to be long, but it should feel personal and help shoppers connect with the artist behind the designs. A short, well‑written paragraph that explains who you are, what you create, and what makes your work unique fits exactly what Zazzle intends.

Here’s an example of the kind of About section that aligns with that approach:

Example:

“I’m Susan, the designer behind Susang6 Creative Studio. I create seasonal and nature‑inspired home décor, stationery, clothing, and party supplies featuring vintage florals, wildlife, and soft seasonal colors. My designs are built from a mix of photography, hand‑assembled collages, vintage art, and AI‑assisted watercolor work. Each piece is created with intention.  I’m the artist behind every design, while Zazzle handles printing and shipping to ensure quality and reliability. Thank you for visiting my store and supporting independent artistry.

I include the printing and shipping note because many customers assume designers ship the products themselves. Clarifying that Zazzle fulfills the orders helps set expectations and prevents confusion about delivery times.

@Susang6   Excellent introduction I will work on that as soon as Zazzle support will fix my profile settings, for over a week now it gives me an error when I try to add updated profile messages. You are good with writing Susan, I will try my best. I am waiting for the response from the support in a meantime I will work on About me page and pictures of myself.
